Current Community Initiative projects

Chronic Hemodialysis

Since 2021 Edison wellness initiative in partnership with Edison renal and dialysis has been offering discounted dialysis to less privileged patients in Gauteng and Limpopo across five dialysis centers.

Health Awareness and Screening

Since 2021 Edison wellness initiative has engage in several screening and awareness outreaches in churches, malls as well as several public places.

Feeding Scheme

Edison wellness initiative has been running a successful feeding program every Sunday since 2021 in Atteridgeville ,Mshongo (informal settlement). Currently the feeding scheme is feeding between 150- 200 children.

Youth Mentoring Program

Edison wellness initiative recently started a youth mentoring program every Saturday in Atteridgeville that gives support, educate, guide and empower youth through different activities e.g educational movies, drama, poetry and etc. This program is currently attended by youth not less than 120 every Saturday.

Educational support

Edison wellness intiative supports and promotes education. We are currently running academic awards programs every school quarter to motivate students by awarding them with trophies, certificates of excellence, stationery, school uniforms and cash prizes.

Early childhood development

Edison wellness initiative is currently subsidizing over 40 children with 50 percent of their tuition fees at Living Word Christian Church Worldwide Daycare and Preschool in Atteridgeville (Mshongo).
